How to specify when a hole should be reamed to size?
Answer:
In principle Geometric tolerances do not dictate manufacturing or a measurement technology.
The Size and Tolerance should be specified.
It is possible to add a note if a specific tool or process is required .
Please note figure 1 is per ASME standard (Perfect Form at MMC is the default)
Per ISO GPS the modifier Ⓔ is expected (following the size specification or as a general note)
